I sold it.

Kinja'd!!!

My buddy wanted it so I gave him a solid deal on it. Rode it over to his place after work, and we rolled out to a dealership so I could grab this:

Kinja'd!!!

Evidently, my style is hyper nakeds. This is a 17 Yamaha FZ-10. It’s already been tuned, decatted, and a few other odds and ends. 2K miles, honestly right out of the break in period. The best way I can describe how amazing the exhaust sounds is a bear gargling another bear. It glorious. The tune and decat gives it about 160-170 hp, not exactly sure where it falls, but its like 20 over stock. I live about 2 hours from the dealer I got this from, and it was during Friday rush hour so things went downhill pretty quick from there:

Kinja'd!!!

8 miles of standstill traffic. An accident blocked off 4 out of 5 lanes on the highway, during rush hour. I was under this overpass for a while. Once I got out of traffic and managed to get gas (The mileage on this thing is atrocious) someone got hit and spun into the median by a driver who fled the scene

Kinja'd!!!

Stopped to help them, called the cops while they called family members, stuck around making sure they were alright, checked for major injuries and such. This was about 3 hours into my 2 hour ride home so i needed a break from the terrible seat (I have the comfort seat on the way).

Kinja'd!!!

This thing has a presence, it just looks angry. I can’t wait to get some miles on it and explore just how much of a dickhead bike this really is.

Kinja'd!!!

Though there are some drawbacks, it’s an effectively 170 mile range out of 4 gallons of gas.

Also, this kinja photo credit thing is not well thought out, I get the idea behind it but damn.

That bike looks like an absolute asshole haha; excellent choice . Have fun and stay safe out there. Bikers than lend a hand to cagers that get into trouble alone like that are awesome. Thanks for helping out. Those folks are always a little shocked and often squirrely in a bad situation.

That looks like a pretty rad bike . Almost 45mpgs seems ok? Maybe I’m missing something. Anyway I’m definitely c urious to know how it treats you after a few more miles.

I think my buddy cursed me, I was out at his place a few hours ago and he said my bike was cursed to have accidents happen when im riding, There was a head on colission on a two lane bridge on the way back not an hour later that I was maybe 3 minutes behind.

170 miles divided by 4 gallons is 42.5. Yah, 32 isn’t so hot. Oh well, looks like a fun b ike regardless
